Clay It Forward
Amory’s Atelier is a subscription based local pop-up pottery workshop serving Douglasville and Atlanta. A ceramic arts instructor goes to your location with clay, tools, glazes and teaches pottery techniques for a production pottery studio. These on-going workshops operate on a “clay it forward” donation basis. Your workshop was funded through support of our Patrons and Muses.
Workshops cost between $10-$150 per participant, but we do not charge for our ceramic arts instruction because we believe communitiy should fulfilling the right of every person to have access to a ceramic arts education without charge.
Each contribution provides micro-grants for economically disavantaged participants to have a regular ceramic arts education at their school, daycare, senior centers, hospital(s) or aftercare club(s).
Your contribution also funds growth of the Mobile Clay Atelier, including the purchase of clay, glazes, vehicles, fuel, kilns, electricity, insurance, vehicles, and staffing. Donations can be made below.
